Military Miniatures Gallery

Miniature means small!

Update January 14, 2005 - Pocher 1/20 scale cannons!

Why study Military History ? In the words of Perry Keating, " When we forget the last war, we're ready to have our next". These miniature models pay tribute (in a small way) to the men who served their country and often gave their lives.

This collection includes over 100 vehicles in the 1/76 or 1/72 scales, and over 85 figures in the larger 54mm (1/35) scale. I also have about 60 tanks in HO (1/87) scale. With the June 2003 update this gallery now includes virtually all the important armored vehicles of the twentieth century. This is now one of the most complete pictorial histories available on the web. I built, painted and photographed the vehicles.

Hey, Armor fanatics! Test your tank ID skills!

How many of these eleven tanks can you identify? All were used since WW II by major nations. Congratulations to James Fie of Durham, NC, who identified all eleven in July of '98. (The models here are all 1/87 scale, mostly by ROCO.)
