If you're like me, you've probably seen a lot of military documentaries on PBS or the History Channel etc, including some about armored vehicles. By far the best documentary on tanks I have ever seen was done by the BBC as part of their "SOLDIERS: A History of Men in Battle" series in the late 1980's, called simply TANK. This documentary features good footage of old and new armor in action, and interviews with men who served in them. Since I can't find any retail source for this excellent video, I am willing to make copies on video compact disk (VCD) for interested armor fans. A VCD is sort of a low-budget relative of the DVD, it plays on CD-ROM drives or newer DVD players, but lacks the video quality of the DVD format. If you would be willing to pay a small fee to cover my costs, (say about $10), contact me.
Technical Info: Written by John Keegan, 50 minutes long, color and b&w, historical film footage 1916-1988, excellent views of Merkava, Challenger & Chieftain tanks with some footage of many others.
